It’s amazing the difference a day makes as they say. We know that is the truth, from last-minute local nights away in our family campervan, to the stolen odd night in the cabin away from the kids.

Life is busy. Pause and reset with us, or kick-start the brain with a burst of contemplation and focus to inspire you.

These limited availability special dates are here to make a difference to your week, your month, and more. Whether it is to get away for inspiration or relaxation on your own, or to spend proper slowed-down time with your loved one, the special environment of the cabin gets you there.

(No kids, no groups, just one or two)

First come, first served.

Single nights are a rarity at the Vacationist Eco Cabin. They will (nearly always) be on weekdays, and in the quieter months. But if our diary has a space we will try and accommodate you.

Bookings can be in any 24 hour period, diary allowing. 12 until 12 the next day; 10 until 10 or potentially anything depending on availability.

Just get in touch with us to tell us why you are looking for a 24 hour stay, and when you are looking for. We'll do our best to book you a time that works.

Whether one or two people, this great price buys you 24 hours in a cabin that’s won plaudits for its design.

You’ll also have access to our own ‘Secret Woodland’ firepit and fire cooking area by the stream behind the cabin. It’s self-check in, so just turn up and be on your own. No neighbours, just you and nature. Heaven.

The rule of thumb is Mondays to Thursday in the low season (October – April) but avoiding school and other hols.

But, if you spy a spare day coming up soon on our calendar, it’s always worth dropping us a line. If it works without disrupting our main 2-night booking programme, you might get lucky!

relax, work, create - EAT!

If you need some basic provisions left in the fridge for your stay let us know. We can raid some great local farm shops for some goodies to keep your energy levels up.

Want more? We can supply recipe cards and ingredients for easy to cook delicious one pot creations in the cabin kitchen. Or something for the BBQ even. Anything to max the relax!

Born of inspiration: An A-frame, interior design, and lots of triangles!

As well as those who want to undertake the vitally important task of total relaxation, we hope the cabin can welcome anyone who wants to take time to work, and create as effectively as they can. It’s a peaceful space set in nature and time alone there is time well spent for those who are looking to give breathing space for focus and creativity.

The cabin , and its striking design is itself a product of true inspiration. On 9th May 2020, our imagination was captured by a glimpse of a simple A-Frame cabin in the woods in Georgia, USA. We said then and there, “we’ll build one of those one day!”. Well, we’ve not done that yet (planning laws and lack of our own land are complications!), but that did lead to our chosen motif for the Vacationist cabin interior, which we are delighted has worked so well: triangles!

The cabin is our inspiration, and part of our story and our passion for travel and creativity. We hope you can come and stay and perhaps be inspired too. The images below give you a whistlestop tour of where that Triangular cabin in Georgia led us with the cabin. From picture windows, to shelves, to coat hooks, to keyrings, and even to our name, logo, and font. Not forgetting floors that travel vertically up into tables!
